Hi, I'm Carrie, and I play Petz sometimes. My earliest memory of Petz was seeing the newly released game "Dogz 3" on the shelf of my local mom-and-pop computer store. I was 11 years old. The rest is history (although it was a while before I was able to get my hands on Catz 3). I've been playing, off and on, for the last two decades. Lately, it's mostly been "off", but here I am, returning once again. I've been known variously throughout the PC as Penny Lane and by my real name, Carrie. I've owned the websites Penny Lane, Abbey Road, Cierra (these latter two of PKC/DKC/KCA notoriety), and a number of much older failed petz sites, the names of which I can't even remember. I think one of them was Great Lakes Kennelz (I remember using GLK as a prefix...) but unfortunately, it's been lost to the sands of time. Suffice it to say, I was a little indecisive back then. Speaking of the KCA, that was a project between Kiwi and myself. |

| I began Fishwife in June of 2011 when I was "getting back into petz" (sound familiar yet?). The name is silly, but it really tickles my fancy. A fishwife is just a fancy word for a woman who sells fish. But I love all things wharf-ish, and I used to work on a fishing vessel, and my favorite GoT character is a fishwife at one point in the story. So, it's fitting, I guess. |
